Development and Evolution

Our lab was established in 1999 in Crete. In 2012 we moved to Lyon and joined the Institut de Génomique Fonctionnelle de Lyon (IGFL), whose focus on the interfaces of developmental biology, physiology and evolution was an excellent fit for our research interests. The institute is co-sponsored by the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon, the CNRS and the Université Claude Bernard / Lyon 1.

We are located on the 3rd floor of the IGFL building, at the Gerland campus in the south of Lyon. (map)

Our lab attracts people from all over the world – currently including scientists from France, Italy, Spain, Japan, Turkey  and Greece.  The lab's working language is English.
